Calm Before The End of the World
Posting before my cousin gets here. The Lord know all hell will break loose once she's here. I... miss her, I guess, but I'm just tired of everything in our family. I'm stubborn and I hold grudges for long times. Their holidays sucked? Well, I'm sorry, but I don't think it's worth making up.
I don't want to head to Depression Ville just yet, so I'm going to talk about RENT.
Got the two-disc special edition RENT DVD for Christmas. n_______________n It's not, technically, all the special, but I got to see two songs they deleted. I had heard the songs before - because I had downloaded it - but the scene between Mark and Roger was seriously emotional. They didn't put it in for two reasons: one, two much emotion would have made people less caring about Angel's death. (I cried at her funeral the first time I watched it. I think it's the song. I still get goosebumps each time.) And second, because Mark and Roger had never sung to each other before in the movie, and the director thought it took something away from their relationship.
I guess I can live with Mark and Roger angsting. It was still a beautiful scene.
The other song they took out was Mark singing alone about how he felt alone. Also gave me goosebumps.
I can watch the whole movie with commentary! It features: the director with Adam and Anthony. (Roger and Mark). Seriously. Funny. I love listening to them explain everything and comment on stuff.
Apparently, when we see Roger and Mimi kiss in the interlude of La Vie Boheme, Adam kept trying to still Rosario some tongue. xDDDDDDDDD Funny. And in Colin and Angel's romance scene, they had to digitally delete some spit. xDD You know, the director said they got a lot of talk about Colin and Angel's kiss. It's super innocent! He said so, too. I always thought it was really sweet and all. I mean, we see Maureen and Johanne grabbed each other's bums, which, to me, is worse than two guys kissing. *sigh*
Johnathon Larson is the best. Rest in Peace, Mr Larson, and thank you for creating RENT.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas~
Aha! Mum thinks she's funny because she bought me a gag-gift. She thinks I'd find it annoying that she got me something I complained we didn't have. But who gets the last laugh? Certainly not her, because I LIKE my gift, and I'm only too glad we have one now.
*huggles grill-cheese maker*
Thank you, oh glorious machine!

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
It's almost Christmas! WOOT! I'm really eager, even though this Christmas will be much different than in the past years. So many traditions will be broken, but... Hey. Gotta be optimistic! Maybe new ones will begin! I'm just thanking the Lord Matante Vivi and Zia Rosa are going to Nancy's house with us... But then Christmas Day they're all coming here, and we're gonna have a blast! (Because everyone knows Nancy is a bore. <.< No offense, of course.) Wanna open gifts, wanna open gifts, wanna open gifts, wanna open gifts, wanna open gifts...
Yeah, I'm selfish like that.
And hey, I have a question? I realise no one reads this, but what is Kwanza? Besides the fact that black people celebrate it? I mean, I know it's an African American holiday, but... what is it they're celebrating? The birth of a god? The death of a god? A certain event? And what religion is it? I asked my sister, and she's like: "African American religion." I don't think she realises the difference between race and religion. I don't think anybody does. <.<;; It's kinda sad.
Anywho, I was thinking about it, and I was like: "Man, I have no holiday writing or drawing to post up." And it sucks. u____________u But! But now that the holidays are here, I can work on my sexy man x sexy man fic!! It's such an odd pairing, but I'm positive I'll get it to work! So long as both of them behave...
Ha. That's funny. Him, behave. Yeeeeeah...
I also have a really vivid idea for a Sirius x Harry, Sirius x Remus oneshot, PWP, and I think, if I have time, I'll get it done today. I need to find an asylum that posts HP_Slash. That would be nice.

Snape and his Western Self
Dreamt something really random. I'm not gonna go into details, but in my dream, Snape popped up. With his dad. And his dad looked like a friggin' cowboy.
D'you who it was? Ever watch 'Ghost Rider'? Well, you know the caretaker? [This guy who isn't Nicolas Cage?] Him. It was... really messed up. That's what I get for reading fics with Snape's dad in it. Don't know how the resemblance goes, but his hair is white, and he doesn't look TOO old, which means, logically, it might've maybe been black, right?
Ah, I dunno. Can't really justify my dream. But that's how I'll see him, any time he's ever mentioned, ever. *sigh* Damn influencial dreams. Well, his father could have been worst. Could have been Santa or something...

Guh... Damn Homework
I have this new idea for a wonderful fic. It's such a strange pairing, but it sorta just... popped into my head. I was thinking about my two favourite HP men, and I was like: ...how could I get them together? I swear to Merlin, if this pairing's been done before, I need to read it.
Anywho, my problem is that I have too much homework. I have my English essay to finish, which isn't too big a problem. And even my French CV shouldn't be too hard. But I plan on starting my Physics lab which is due Friday, and I'm REALLY not in the mood. Plus I have four exams to study for...
But the pretty-ness!! u_________u
It'll have to wait, lest I overly procrastinate with my work. That would not be good.
Would you like to know the pairing? Well, I won't say until I'm done writing the first chapter. So nyeah.

The Good and Bad of Movies
Right. Here are two movies that sucked total ass but that captivate me with their stories.
First off: Beauty and the Beast. The Disney movie just... never really pleased me. It was never one of my favourites, and I have to be in the mood to watch it again nowadays. As far as Disney goes, it's done better fairy-tales. But Merlin is it fun to think about! Could you imagine? A spoiled prince who's cursed into a hideous form until someone can love him, can stand his terrible ways. His terrible ways, with time, become no more, and only his appearance remains... And then there's the Beauty, the poor girl who wishes for more than her simple life. I love picturing them together, before they were in love and all that. It's so cute and adorable to imagine them reading together once they become friends, and having conversations...
I'm a total sap when it comes to Beast x Beauty.
Oh, and, before I move on to the second movie, I'd like to point out that the Beast does not have a name. Never is his name mentioned. Ever. Right then, moving along...
Ghost Rider. Terrible movie. That might be just because I hate Nicolas Cage... He always looks like a moron in ALL his movies. All of them. He has the same dumb look/personality that frustrates me. Guh. City of Angels, Ghost Rider, The Wicker Man, National Treasure... Oh, and he wasn't that good in NEXT either. Hmph. Moving along to Ghost Rider...
The movie wasn't too good. Watched it in the cinema, then I rented it again when it came out. I mean, it was cool, and I liked the Church-keeper-guy (he looked like such a cowboy. Yee-haw!) but let's face it: it wasn't as great as it could have been. But the idea of Ghost Rider? My God, I could think on it for hours. First off, the theme brings up the age old debate about if killing people who've done bad things is right.
I think the whole idea of having sold your soul to the devil, so now you must claim them is pretty neat. And also that the good guy is actually a bad guy is pretty neat as well. It's an opinion. He kills people, but only by giving back to them all the pain and hurt they've caused to people in their lives. It's so thrilling to imagine.
Yeah, mmkay. That's all. I'm'a go write some fanfics now. <.< Yay?

"So... You're a girl, huh?"
Bored like you have no idea. I should be doing the homework that's piled in my room. Hmm. But... Meh. I can do it later. <.< xDD
The reason I can't seem to concentrate:

Damn day-dreams. xDD Ah well. I can so picture the actual Harry and Draco on the sidelines, going: "...what? What the hell is wrong with this girl? Does she not realise we're enemies? *scoffs and hexes the other into oblivion*"

I hath migrated from LiveJournal. Yay for me? Yes. Yay for me. My communities were all shifting from there to here, so I figured I might as well do the same.
That's basically it, really.
Now I must explore this foreign land of Insane Journal, and learn the ways.
